Fabulous Find!

It has been a LONG day for me. We went and visited lance's mom last night and stayed, and today, I really didn't do much, but I feel so exausted. So now on a Saturday night, i'm laying around blogging :). I know this is not Friday, but I have to tell you a fabulous friday find. Old Navy had a huge sell going on for just today only. They had their scarves $1.00 each!! And they were not just decorative scarves, they were fleece scarves! You could only get 5 scarves though. You then had to check out and go get more scarves, and stand in line again. So I decided to just get five!

 

I was so happy I was able to find some great scarves for winter! Now we're home, just relaxing for the night. I'm thinking about going to bed early, some reason, i'm just extremely tired! Here's a pic of Caden on the way home, he was tuckered out! He had a long day as well!!

1. What is your dream job?

Well it would have to be a talk show host! lol! Like Oprah or Tyra! I know so silly, but that would be so awesome! But there's a reason why i'm trying to get into radiology school. I want to go into the medical field.
2. What song could you play over and over?
I will probably be laughed at by this but it would be, Sinead O'Connor "Nothing Compares To You"! haha! My girlfriends and I used to sing this song to the top of our lungs riding backroads on a Saturday night! lol. It's such a fun song to listen to with your friends! If you've never heard of it, GO DOWNLOAD it!!! Sooooo good...and OLD! lol!


3. Do you prefer to talk on the phone or text (or email)?
Text. Just because i'm always in class or at work, so it's easier for me. I use my email 24/7 though. So that's a good way to get in touch with me!


4. What is your must have beauty product?
Ugh, such a hard question! probably my mascara. but i'm a huge moisturizer! Having my mascara on, feels like having my whole face on! lol. I have really long and thick eyelashes also, so thats nice :). I use moisturizer 2 times a day, so I couldnt live without that!


5. What is your favorite Michael Jackson song?
THRILLER! I love thriller because it reminds me of my highschool days when the pom squad and cheerleaders does the thriller dance every halloween. It is so cute! Oh, how i miss those days!

Motivation

I'm sore.. hurting.. tired.. and hungry. But i'm MOTIVATED! I'm so happy Keely and Mama M have started the Hot and Healthy Thru The Holidays! On some of my previous posts, I've talked about how i've "let myself go" through the past couple of years. But i'm ready to have my old body back. I want to be able to chase around Caden without being out of breathe! And the first time in ALLLLL of the diets i've tried, I feel extremely motivated because so many of you gals out there are doing this with me! Yay!

I started the Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred. That is HARDCORE. I was warned but I wanted to try it. I actually love it but i'm going to take it easy on that workout. Some of the exercises are really tough on my knees. I've got bad knees and it's not worth making them worse for just that certain exercise. Keely just posted a pilates video and I can't wait to try it. Mama M just posted how to snack properly with some great ideas! I excited to start snacking the "right" way! I hope everyone keeps each other motivated because I'm definitly looking for the help!!

Hot and Healthy Thru The Holidays!

Some really cool blog gals Keely and Mama M have come up with an awesome way for all of us to stay healthy through all of the holidays coming up! It's called Hot and Healthy Thru The Holidays. Every Tuesday, they will have a blog hop, where everyone that wants to participate can link up and Keely and Mama M will be giving healthy eating tips and exercising tips! Keely will also be giving everyone a goal to meet at the end of each week. We will keep up with our time that we exercise. I have NO will power whatsoever, so i'm really hoping and praying with all the women that are doing this, that I will to! I have pretty much "let myself go" since i've been out of highschool and it's killing me. I know that Keely and Mama M did not start this up for dieting, they did it to get people back into eating healthy. But i'm really hoping as I go with this, I will shed a alot few pounds to. I'm going to go get the Jillian Michaels workout dvd today. and also go get some workout equipment that my mom has in a storage building. My worst mistake is EATING! omg, I eat so horrible. Anything that is SWEET in front of me, I eat! I have a HUGE candy bowl at my desk for the employees and people who walk in the door. Since it's right beside me, I eat candy out of it like 3-5 times a day. So bad I know! So i'm so excited for Keely and Mama M to be giving me some helpful hints! Yay! So here we go!

Not Me Monday

Where has the weekend gone?! I have been EXTREMELY busy all weekend. Actually, i've been busy starting last Thursday. But that's a whole nother' post. So, Not Me Monday is back! MckMama has not been able to post a Not-Me Monday due to baby Stellan being in the hospital, but go ahead and go over to her blog and love on baby Stellan.

We had a Heaven and Hell house at our church and I so DID NOT take some small children that could not(they really could not) go through hell just to the heaven part to meet their parents there. And my pastor so DID NOT miscount the group number so I so DID NOT take two children into heaven in the wrong group and sat there with them through the whole heaven scene, without their parents!

While doing the last night of Heaven and Hell house last night, I was NOT asked out of the blue to be an angel in heaven. I totally DID NOT say yes! and then realize that I had to take off my blue jeans. I DID NOT freak out about wearing just white shorts underneath because my robe was short and I HAVE NOT shaved my legs in a week!

My friends that were in heaven with me DID NOT call me, hairy angel all night. Nope, they love me more than that.

And I definitely DID NOT have the most absolute, fabulous, time with the most greatest people in my life! Nope NOT ME!

Five Question Friday

Today is Friday, so you know what that means! FIVE QUESTION FRIDAY! I have been sooooo tired today. My church is presenting the Heaven and Hell House last night til saturday night, and I stayed there til almost 12 last night. Heaven and Hell House is an amazing play that shows you what we think heaven and hell are like! It's amazing! we only do it every three years because it's so much time put into this. But this is a whole nother' post. Back to the questions! If you want to participate in the Five Question Friday...head to Mama M's blog!!!

1. What were you doing the last time you really had a good laugh?
At heaven and hell house. I was keeping kids in the nursery, and there was a little girl in there that was so spoiled, you were actually amazed at her. I've never seen anything like it. She kicked, threw things, screamed, cried, whined, everything you can think of. And we could NOT do anything to help her. We eventually was so shocked by this little girl that we just started laughing at her. I know thats horrible to say on my part, but I was just so amazed at how spoiled some kids are!
2. Who was your first CELEBRITY crush?
Oh gosh, probably Nick Lachey off of 98 degrees! haha! Then Justin Timberlake, and etc. hehe
3. What is one talent that you wish you had?
A beautiful voice! I wish I could sing so bad. I have the worst voice you've ever heard! I would love to be able to sing in the choir at church, but there's no way i'm doing that unless there's a miracle somehow!
4. How often do you and your spouse go out w/o the kids? Is it frequent enough?
Well since I don't have a spouse yet...me and my boyfriend get to go out whenever we want! But that's unlikely. I'm always studying. We go out every once and a while.
5. What colour(s) is your bedroom?
I'm renting a house, and my bedroom is this ugly blue-ish wallpaper w/ this grandma-ish flower border. I wish I could paint but the landlord won't let us. It's ok, it's actually a great house and I love it.
