Five Question Friday

Today is Friday, so you know what that means! FIVE QUESTION FRIDAY! I have been sooooo tired today. My church is presenting the Heaven and Hell House last night til saturday night, and I stayed there til almost 12 last night. Heaven and Hell House is an amazing play that shows you what we think heaven and hell are like! It's amazing! we only do it every three years because it's so much time put into this. 1. What were you doing the last time you really had a good laugh?
At heaven and hell house. I was keeping kids in the nursery, and there was a little girl in there that was so spoiled, you were actually amazed at her. I've never seen anything like it. She kicked, threw things, screamed, cried, whined, everything you can think of. And we could NOT do anything to help her. We eventually was so shocked by this little girl that we just started laughing at her. I know thats horrible to say on my part, but I was just so amazed at how spoiled some kids are!
2. Who was your first CELEBRITY crush?
Oh gosh, probably Nick Lachey off of 98 degrees! haha! Then Justin Timberlake, and etc. hehe
3. What is one talent that you wish you had?
A beautiful voice! I wish I could sing so bad. I have the worst voice you've ever heard! I would love to be able to sing in the choir at church, but there's no way i'm doing that unless there's a miracle somehow!
4. How often do you and your spouse go out w/o the kids? Is it frequent enough?
Well since I don't have a spouse yet...me and my boyfriend get to go out whenever we want! But that's unlikely. I'm always studying. We go out every once and a while.
5. What colour(s) is your bedroom?
I'm renting a house, and my bedroom is this ugly blue-ish wallpaper w/ this grandma-ish flower border. I wish I could paint but the landlord won't let us. It's ok, it's actually a great house and I love it.

Wordless Wednesday

So this is not so wordless, and not a very good picture. But I can't help but to share him. I just could love all him all the time. For some new readers, this is Caden. Lance's(my boyfriend/bestfriend) little boy. He is the sweetest, most hyper, sensitive, laughing, little boy i've ever met. I'm sorry my pictures aren't very good. I have no professional camera (even though I hope to get one one day), and I do not have photoshop(even though I asked for it for Christmas). So please bare with me. When I get photoshop, I hope to be able to make a very cute header. My blog is so boring looking! And I hope to also edit photos, it seems like a lot of fun! So in the next few months, I hope my blog will be a lot more prettier! haha! I just hope y'all stick around for it!

10 Honest Things About Me:

1. I bought my first car (not really my 1st, my parents bought that one) this past march. I was so nervous about making payments but i've made my payments 2 weeks ahead of each payment.

2. My credit score is in the 700's. I'm 20. :) So i'm pretty proud of that.

3. I'm applying for radiology school in December, extremely nervous that I won't get in.

4. Me and Lance's 2 year anniversary was last Friday. We both forgot about it. I'm always good at keeping up with that stuff.

5. I have a very big sweet tooth!

6. When i'm out of college, married, have a house built, etc. I want to adopt a child.

7. I LLLOOOVVVEEEE deer meat! i'm from the south, and that's what we pretty much eat all winter long.

8. I'm a big dare devil. Lance is not. We are complete opposites, that's what makes up complete each other! (that was corny i know).

9. I watch Nip Tuck. Yes, i know. Very dirty tv show. But I love the drama in it!

10. My celebrity crush is Shia Lebouf. Yum.

Five Question Friday

I've got a few minutes before I leave work, so i'm going to post Five Question Friday! I've been so busy today that I completely forgot about it! Head over to Mama M's blog to check her out!

1. Whats your favorite horror movie?

I'm not really sure! I dont really have a favorite? I haven't watched one in forever, even though I love them. I would say the Screams, or The Grudge!

2. Bath tub or Hot tub?

Bath tub. Only because I was listening to Dr. Oz the other day on my XM, and he said that syphilis(spell check?) can get transferred through hot tubs because they never get cleaned, and that totally freaked me out!

3. Do you prefer to view a movie at the theater or at home?

Both, if I REALLY want to see a movie at the theatre i'll go watch it, or if I want to go on a date. But I love renting from Red Box and watching them at home.

4. If you could chose a maid, cook or chauffeur, which one would you choose?

Maid! It seems that I have no time to clean anymore with school going on.

5. Electric Slide, Boot Scootin' Boogie, or the Macarena?

Macarena! reminds me of when I was little and used to dance to that all the time! haha!

P.S. i'm about to leave and go see my sis for her birthday. My mom is down so i'm very excited we all get to spend the weekend together! yay!

The Four Letter Word

Yes, that's right. The four letter word every woman hates. The word that makes a woman cringe when it's said. The word that makes you suck in your gut, trying to tell yourself you don't need to listen to that word. Yep, you know what i'm talking about, DIET!! ugh, don't it just make you sick even thinking about it. Well i've been thinking about that stupid word for two years now. The two years that i've gained so much weight that i'm ashamed of myself. Yes all these nice ladies at church is just telling me "it's apart of growing up, and becoming a woman". But to me, it's just stuffing my face every piece of food I see. I'm a HUGE junk food addict. I have the biggest sweet tooth you can ever imagine. Candy never gets old to me. Or cookies, or brownies. I know, sickening right?

So i've decided, if i put my heart into it, i'm going to try to lose some weight. I'm also doing this to get healthier. I've only been out of highschool for a little over two years, and i've gotten so out of shape, it's unreal. I also think it will help boost my self-esteem and my mood swings by just eating healthy. So what's the problem? I DON'T KNOW HOW TO DIET!! Call me stupid, I don't care. All I know, is greasy fast food, and sweets. Yes there is the whole "grilled chicken and veggies". But to me, that's gonna get old quick. So I need some help. Can you please tell me some foods that I can cook and whip up that are healthy and low-fat, low-calorie, low-carb, whatever! I'm a busy woman so it's tough for me to make this big gourmet meal, so maybe things a little easier? I would like to be able to make some stuff the night before so I can bring it in to work with me the next day as a snack. Because my worst problem is getting hungry and reaching for my candy bowl. I love pretty much any kind of food, so there's nothing that will hold me back from trying. I love any meat, vegetables, anything. Oh and exercising? Any dvd's that you recommend that I can do at home?

Not Me Monday!

It's Not Me Monday again! Go over to MckMama's blog and read her HILARIOUS..and i mean HILARIOUS Not Me Monday today!!

It was NOT me that stuffed a queen size comforter into my washing machine to clean it, instead of taking it to the dry cleaners or a laundry mat. It was NOT me that came back 20 minutes later to find water all over my laundry room floor. It was NOT me that realized the comforter was to big for the washing machine and the water poured out of the back of the washing machine.

It was NOT me that got a new 40' flat screen as an early christmas present from my mom because it was on sale! Nope NOT me!

And I totally do NOT watch Friend's 24/7 on my new tv b/c I totally do NOT have cable!

Five Question Friday!

It's Friday again. So you know what that means! Five Question Friday! I'm been slacking lately and haven't been blogging. But I hope to catch back on things though. Thank you Mama M! This is such a fun thing to do! Go over to her blog and check her out!

1. What phrase, or phrases, do you say a lot (holy cow, geez, seriously?)

I say what? because i usually don't understand something. lol!

2. Swimming: Are you a kamikaze off the boat, take the plunge from the deep end, or a gradual, slow submersion from the shore or shallow end kind of person?

Take the plunge from the deep end! i'm a huge dare devil!

3. Have any tattoos? If not, what would you get?

No tattoos, I've seriously considered one, but I have no idea what I would get. So most likely, I will never get one. Unless a mid-life crisis hits or something.

4. What is your favorite tree?

Well I work in a forestry business, so I deal with a lot of trees. Pine, Gum, White Oak, etc. So I really don't have a favorite, they all get kind of old to me. lol!

5. Two pronged question: What is your favorite non-physical thing about your spouse? What is your favorite physical thing about your spouse or significant other?

I like that he's EXTREMELY patient! With everything. With me, caden, teaching stuff to people, etc. I've never seen someone so patient in my life! I love it. :) My Favorite physical thing about Lance would be his eyes. He has pretty eyes. :)

Not Me Monday!

It's Not Me Monday again! I love doing these because like MckMama , your able to get out all of your faults, that really you would never want anyone knowing.

It was not me that heard the dog vomiting this morning in my bedroom floor, and it was not me that just laid there because I was "to tired" to check on her. Who cares if the dog is vomiting on my bedroom floor right?

I did not put the same socks on this morning that I wore yesterday. I would never do that! Even though I had walked all over my dirty kitchen floor with them, and knew they were dirty, and still did not put them on just because they were brown, and I needed some brown socks to wear.

I absolutely did not use my toothbrush this morning, when I knew my ferret climbed on top of my bathroom sink, and grabbed my toothbrush and tried escaping with it. I would never just run my toothbrush under hot water and still brush my teeth with it. That is just nasty, and unsanitary!

I would never continue to drink this coke on my desk when I have a horrible ulcer in my mouth. Nope, I would never continue drinking an acid-like drink just because I "need" my daily Coke fix.

And lastly, I'm totally not sitting here at my desk, with papers strolled in front of me, acting like i'm working on something, just so I can work on my Not Me Monday post. Nope, I would never do that.

A Woman After God's Own Heart

In my sunday school class, the women decided to separate from the men and start our own little class and start reading this book:

I'm not a big book reader, unless it consists of drama. haha. I love reading Lurlene McDaniel books, but that's all i usually read. So I wasn't to sure about having to read a book for a class, since I hated doing it in high school.

We are in our third week, third chapter, and I absolutely LOVEEE it! I was nervous at first because there are a lot of chapter about how to deal with marriage, and i'm not married. But there is never a wrong time to learn about marriage. We are in the chapter about prayer. Something that I have issues in right now. I pray, but not enough. And not on everything I should pray about. Elizabeth George tells you her life experiences on prayer, and also how to get better in praying, what to pray for, when to pray, how to pray. It's helping me little by little, step by step to be a woman after God's own heart. I can't wait to get into the rest of this book. I would defiantly suggest this book to any woman. The men also are reading A Man After God's Own Heart, written by Elizabeth George's husband. They are not reading it out of class because we knew they wouldn't read it, so they are just doing it in the classroom, but so far they are really loving it to. I would suggest that book to any man to. Look for more updates on this book, i'm sure i'll be talking all about it as I get more into the book!

1. What is the one thing that you reach for the most in a day (excluding phones and computers)?
- That would be my pen and message pad for work. and also the telephone.

2. What is the farthest you have been from home?
- Mexico! But i had my mom and sister with me, so it wasn't homesick. I also have been to Wyoming on vacation.

3. What kind of cell phone do you have? Love it or hate it?
- Just got a new one for my birthday (thanks mom!) It is a Samsung Impression. Touchscreen and slide out keyboard. and i LOVEEEEE it!!!

4. Coke or Pepsi?
- Coke all the way! gotta have one everyday!

5. If you could go back and change anything about your wedding day, what would it be and why?
- Well since I haven't walked down the aisle yet, I really can't answer this question. haha! I'll get back to you on this one!

Rainbow Cake

I figured I would post on the rainbow cake. I posted a few pictures on the previous post but I wanted to post more. It was alot of fun to make. I had Caden helping me. He was sick and couldn't play outside, so I decided to keep him occupied. We started around 9 that morning and finally finished around 1. There are some things i'll do differently for the next cake. But all in all, it was really fun, and really delicious!

Weekend Wrap-Up

Well i'm not doing a Not-Me Monday today...b/c i feel that i have nothing embarrassing to share. Haha. This weekend was a good weekend, just mainly being lazy. I did however make the famous "RAINBOW CAKE" everyone has been talking about! Mine was nothing near as pretty as Amanda's was on MckMama's blog. But i'm pretty proud of it myself. The creamcheese frosting started to melt and so my layers started to slide, so the cake was leaning a little. My phone pictures don't do the cake justice. My colors we're a lot brighter than what it looks like. There are a few things i'll do next time around. I didn't put enough frosting between the layers. But everyone at work LOVED it! It was such a delicious cake!

As you can tell the layers slid, so they were uneven...and I put ALOT more frosting between the red and orange layer than the rest. But other than that, the cake was delicious, and super fun to make!!!

Caden has had the flu the past week, but when we got him friday night, he was feeling better and was not running any fever! So he was the same hyper little boy he always was. I'll post more pictures of the cake once I get them off my camera; also of Caden helping me make the cake. He got a little messy!

I better get back to my homework now! Or i'll never get it done!

Busy Week

I figured I would write a quick post before I leave work. This week has been busy with school and other things. Tuesday night we took Caden to the circus here in our town. Let's just say... this circus was a little...weird. No elephants at all. lol. But Caden LOOVVVEDDD the animals. Lance and I enjoyed the acrobats though, haha. Outside of the circus tent was this slide that costs $2 to just slide on it! But, we let Caden slide and after we left the circus, he told us "that was my "fabortists" things at the cirbus"! hehe. hes so cute. Here he is climbing and sliding!

These aren't good photos, they were taken off my phone. But as you can tell, he enjoyed the slide!





Also, last saturday night, we went to our hometown's fair rodeo. One of Caden's favorite animals is horses, so he enjoys the rodeo. Plus, Lance's little sister, Hannah, rides in the rodeos and he loves watching her. She didn't ride that night though.


I've never seen a 3 year old little boy that was not afraid of these huge horses. He rides them with Hannah all the time, he helps out in the barn and everything. He will definately be an animal lover like his dad's side of the family.

Other than that, my week has consisted of studying. Like any other college student.
